Meet Dallas Parsons

I am a mom of four, as well as a Lactation Consultant who trained and worked closely with Dr. Jack Newman in                                                    Toronto for over 5 years. From one Mom to another...I have the passion, skills, knowledge & experience to                                                            support you.

After the arrival of my first baby, I found my true passion was to work with moms and babies. My knowledge of                                                    lactation and infant nutrition provide a unique and valuable skill set, and these, coupled with my dedication and                                                  breadth of experience, mark the heart of Best Start Breastfeeding and Nutrition.

After earning my Diploma in Lactation Medicine from the International Breastfeeding Centre, and becoming an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant, I was hired on staff at the Jack Newman Breastfeeding Clinic and have accumulated in excess of 3000 hours working with moms and babies. I have worked collaboratively with leading expert pediatricians and senior lactation consultants in a variety of specialties including nipple pain, not enough milk, not-yet-latching babies, induced lactation, tongue tie and breastfeeding after breast surgery.

I am now living in beautiful South Surrey with my husband and four young children. I acknowledge that being a mother is an exceptionally rewarding and empowering part of a woman’s life, and I am devoted to inspiring and supporting other moms with the knowledge they deserve to feed their babies, from bump, to baby, to toddler.
