Karen Bolan

Having lived in the UK for most of my life, my husband and I decided to "live the dream" and emigrate to Canada.  It was a great move for us and our children are definitely flourishing and having the opportunity to experience this beautiful country.

It was from a young age that I realized my skill set was in organization and after attending UK sixth form and College I was able to secure an office position at UK's major employee British Telecom.  During my time here I had the most wonderful opportunity to achieve positions rising from clerical assistant into the management grades.  My skill set acquired over this 14 year period covered office administration, secretarial, office management, people and supervisory skills, marketing, training & development, logistics, event co-ordination management, quality and assurance, business management administration, operational management.......

Following our move to Canada it was important to settle the family and establish ourselves into the community.  I joined Committees and School PACs helping to raise funds for school projects.  I'm still heavily involved in two local sports group - South Delta United Soccer Club and South Delta Basketball Association and love my continued involvement in the local community.

I've been with South Delta Midwifvery for a year and I love it.....  Its wonderful being involved in such an amazing part of natures creation and knowing that you have helped in some part to make this journery as smooth as possible.  The cuddles at the end with beautiful newborn babies is an added bonus.

I look forward to talking to you and hopefully welcoming you into the Clinic.....
